Joshua went on his first trip to the zoo this past week. I think he had fun, but he shows more enthusiasm for the stray cats that roam around outside my apartment, "hi, kitty!" is Joshua's new phrase. At the zoo, he liked the zebras the best. He kept patting his chest over and over again. Usually, patting his chest is his way of signing the word "dog" but now, anything furry or has four legs is a dog to him.
Now, for those of you who are wondering about his CT-scan results.... He had his CT-scan done two days ago, and the proceedure went as planned so he won't need another one (at least not for now). However, the CT-scan did show that the "transluscent" mass or whatever you want to call it, actually goes into the bone of the skull itself. While the doctors still assure us that it may mean nothing, they are concerned enough to have Joshua see a specialist at the Phoenix Children's Hospital to see if whether or not he can tell us exactly what the mass is... we are hoping it's just a benign cyst. The earliest appointment was for Nov. 5th, which stinks because now I have to worry about whether or not I need to worry for several more days now. Thank goodness we have insurance, because I'm sure these appointments aren't cheap. Thank you for your prayers. I'll keep you all posted.
