Vaca Part Two

I still have a lot of pictures to download, but here are a few the Michelle took of Jon Mark and I.

The other day when we were talking on the phone, I had mentioned that Jon Mark and I had not had a "couple" picture since our first year of marriage. Ever since the kids had come along, the pictures of the two of us, have always had a kid or two in them. She suggested a photo shoot and I was quick to say yes.

I think she did a great job. And, although Michelle may advance as a photographer, I think that both Jon Mark and Michelle would agree that I don't have any future in modeling... I think I laughed my head off most of the time, and was too embarrassed to do some of the poses. But, it made for a great time. Here are a few of my favorite ones...










Since this is a post all about Jon Mark and myself, I think I'll take a moment to embarrass him by posting some facts some of you may not know.

1. Jon Mark is picky. I guess I should feel lucky that he picked me, eh? Right? Cuz he's picky and I passed all of the thresholds! HAHA! But, I'm talking about food right now. He's a picky eater. As a result of that, I can tell you that I have pretty much mastered the perfect cookie and the perfect hamburger (oh, wait, I should save bragging for a different post).

2. Jon Mark loves playing football in the mud.

3. At night, he rubs his feet together while he is falling asleep. If I have my feet anywhere near his, he'll rub my feet with his. If I move my feet to another part of the bed, he finds them subconsciously.

4. Jon Mark has good teeth hygiene and spends about three minutes brushing and 5 minutes flossing every night.

5. Jon Mark will actually moan when he eats Cafe Rio. It's that good.

6. He's really good at sword fighting with fake swords. Although, I can put up a good fight.

7. He prefers cereal to a gourmet breakfast. I used to be offended by this, until I decided it was much easier for me to just pour him a bowl rather than make waffles and bacon.

8. He doesn't snore, thank goodness, and when he does I pinch his nose until he stops.

9. He can talk himself out of an illness. I've also tried mind over illness methods, and it does work... sometimes.

10. He's super strong, super attractive, super smart, but not necessarily super quiet. He doesn't know how to whisper. Seriously. This can cause some awkward moments, but funny ones too.
