Christmas 2011 Part 1

I have too many pictures to try and make the next few posts in any kind of order. I guess I could, but it would take way too long.

We had a great Christmas vacation in Arizona, and my only regret is that everyone had to say goodbye. I hate goodbyes, especially when there isn't a set date in which I'll know when we'll all be together again. It stinks. There's just something wrong about families being so spread out across the United States. I guess I should feel fortunate that we're at least all in America right now. Anyway, in this post, you will see mostly pictures from Freestone park. We has a good time going to Freestone and riding the rides. The train was broken, but we were able to go back another day and ride it. I think Joshua would have been crushed if he had come all the way to AZ and not been able to keep up with that tradition.

The picture of my mom is when Jaron showed up wearing my late Grandpa's hat. She had lost it and Goldfield Ghostown and thought it was gone for good. She prayed about it, my dad went late at night to look for it, but came up empty handed. Anyway, the next day Jaron and Michelle went to Goldfield and found the hat. They surprised her with it at Freestone. It meant a lot to my mom because it once belonged to her dad and had sentimental value. It was a great answer to prayer. I know I am just giving kind of a short-hand version of the story, but it was a neat experience.

Anyway, there is also a family picture of the McAvoy's, I haven't recieved an electroic version of the Haws' yet (hint hint). I'll post it when I get it. Great Mommom and Papa were able to visit, which was really nice. I love them both and I am glad we had that time to get to know one another better. They live in Texas.

Well, that's all I've got time for right now. I have other pictures to post at a later time. Love you!
