What???

Mercedes was getting into the cupboard when I heard the sound of a mess (every parent knows that sound, right?!). I came in to discover that an entire bag of egg noodles was pulled down and emptied on my floor. I looked at her in disbelief and said--in an annoyed tone-- "Mercedes?! What did you do?" She looked up at me (with a mop in her hand as she is spreading it across the floor) and with the same annoyed tone, said, "what? I'm cleaning it up." (Like, duh, Mom).
