I have been busy making crafts lately and have loved exploring this domestic side. Thanks to Nikki, who is a great teacher, I sewed pillows and capes today. I thought that the pillows turned out so professional looking and were a whole lot cheaper than buying them at a store. Jon Mark let me buy some curtains that really add color and character to our front room, plus now I can walk around in my underwear at night and not worry about what the neighbors think! HAHA!
Above is my Springtime wreath (I'm doing everything I can to show spring that it's welcome).
Here are the capes. Joshua wanted two different shades of green and was insistent on it. Since I'm cheap, Mercedes had to have a green cape too because I didn't buy any excess material.
We're lucky to live next door to the Gaskins. Lilly, Maggie, and Olivia make such great friends for my kids and Jon Mark and I love Nikki and James! They're great people.

Great job on all of your projects! It makes me want to go and make something. I haven't had much time since Peter was born. :(
I love the pillows. They look awesome!!!
The pillows turned out so great! You did such a good job picking out the fabrics, and being brave enough to sew all of them by yourself! I'm so glad we did a project. I needed to have some project time, so thanks for the motivation! :) We think you guys are awesome too! SO GLAD we live next door! :)
