1. I'm loving the color green these days. My favorite color is always changing, so much so that when I'm asked what my favorite color is I want to say "all of them" but that's not what people want to hear, so I default to blue. But, after living in Ohio, I'll say it's green.
2. I like the Beatles, Three Dog Night, Cat Stevens, Micheal Jackson, and a bunch of other old school music groups/singers. My parents did a good job exposing me to a lot of the classics from their time period. I fear I haven't given my children as much of a broad taste in music. As much as I love music, the new technological advances have kind of hindered me. I know, that makes me sound like a grandma. It's just that, I find CD's easier to use then syncing an IPOD. As a result, I don't listen to as much music (our only CD player is our Blueray player).
3. I don't like making dinner. I don't know if I ever will. I do it for Jon Mark. Thank goodness our children have a dad (for more than just this) because if I was a single mom, I fear they'd be eating no meat. I hate cooking meat! I do it because I love my husband and recognize that a man (and growing children--I guess) need more sustenance than just breakfast food and fruit.
4. I wish I could take classes in all the arts: jewelry making, dance, pottery making, painting, sketching, refinishing furniture, woodworking, scrap booking, sewing, and so on...
5. I want to be done being pregnant. I complain too much. Everything hurts though. My back and neck get beat up by my mattress every night. My lower half seems to be made of noodles instead of bone because the relaxin hormone is kicking in and makes everything pop and grind and feel all sorts of loosey-goosey. I know, I know, enjoy it... life is harder when the baby comes out... pregnancy is a miracle... no one else can bond with this baby like I can after cooking it for nine and a half months... yeah, yeah. I know...
6. I'm addicted to EBAY. I sold my first item, bought a few items, and now I am addicted. Don't worry, I'm mostly just a looker. I've only purchased three things... but, I still like to look.
7. I like unusual home decor (the kind that causes conversations). Jon Mark and I will probably never agree about what art looks good because he is way more traditional and I am a little eccentric. He's a little boring that way, and I am a little more exciting! HAHA!
Here, I'll show you what I mean.
I love this barn door as a door. With the right money, or DYI know-how, I would totally do this.

Ahh, I love chandies. I love the romantic flair they bring.
Check out the unusal wall display...
How's this for a coat rack??? I love the creativity.
Black and white? Why not? Add a turquoise chandalier and I love it.
See what I mean???
8. I love being a mom. I fear I may have a hard time letting them grow and go. I'm going to try hard not to. I love snuggling and singing lullabies. I love hearing them say funny things. I love their kisses (but I still wipe my mouth afterwards!). I don't think I'll ever like changing diapers (but who does anyway?!) but they come with the territory so I guess I'll take it.
9. Jon Mark is awesome. He really is. I sometimes don't give him the credit he deserves, but he really is amazing. He works so hard for us and still makes time to be a dad and husband.
10. I'm a busy-body. I like to know things. It's not that I think every body's business is my business, it's just that I have this need to know. It's bad, not good. I enjoy a little gossip. I'm always working on this one. It's one of those things that I always have to pray about overcoming.
