Emergency Room

I know I need to post some pictures on here soon.  Those of you who like seeing my kids are probably getting annoyed with me.  I haven't charged my camera in a long time.  I will try to do that today.

So, yesterday I was advised to go to the emergency room.  I didn't feel it necessary to go there, but my doctor told me she felt it appropriate.  I started bleeding again and she wanted to rule out ectopic pregnancy.  Being the obedient girl that I am, I decided to follow her advice.  I spent almost 8 hours at the emergency room (I swear the ER is the slowest place on earth which is kind of ironic).  I was poked, probed, had two ultrasounds (one was one of those kinds) and lots of blood drawn.  My dinner was a Kit Kat bar and some cashews.  I was alone, so it was ultra boring, but the good news is that everything seems okay with the baby.

After everything, they determined that the bleeding was coming from a hemorrhage surrounding the baby but the baby's heart was beating which is always a good sign.  They think I am about 7 1/2 weeks pregnant.  They also believe that the hemorrhage can do one of two things, it can either bleed out slowly (drain over time) or result in a miscarriage.  So, I'm not out of the woods.  I've been told to rest.  But, they said it was promising that they were able to see the heart beating.  That's where I'm at.  I had a hemorrhage with Joshua that bled out slowly.  I'm not sure why I get them, but I think I have had it with all of my pregnancies.  This one is the worst though.

Thanks for your prayers.  I have felt very much at peace while riding this roller coaster of not knowing whether or not I was going to miscarry.

K - take it easy for sure. (So much easier said than done when you have little kids!) I hope everything turns out okay. How scary. We'll be praying for you!

I'm glad everything is good. I don't mean to mince words but you said "for those of you who like seeing pictures of my Kids.." I'm just wondering if someone has told you that they don't like seeing pictures of them. If so what's their problem????!!!
