Biting

I was trying to think of a clever title for this post, but my brain was unable to think of something fitting. I think my sister inlaws will get a kick out of this little story.


It all happened yesterday while I was talking to Lindsay. The kids (Joshua and Bekah) were playing in some nearby rocks. Completly engrossed in our conversation, I had my back to the kiddos and was animately talking. I was completly unaware that my two year old was planning something mischievious, with me being his target. So, you can imagine my surprise when my only warning as to what was about to happen was Joshua declaring, "Joshua bite mommy's butt!" Not a millisecond later, my bottom received quite a strong bite as tiny teeth sunk into my flesh (yes, the bite reached flesh through my pants and all).

So, there's something you can laugh at for the day.  Yes, we are trying more diligently to teach Joshua that biting is not okay, even in play, and especially when "mommy's butt" is the target!
