The New Normal...

Okay, so I got a lot of reassuring comments that things will return to a new kind of normal... Here's my new normal so far...
I nurse around the clock every one to two hours, while that's going on, my poor son is watching Baby Einstein. While I juggle trying to get two kids dressed and ready for the day, I am also cleaning up poopy blowouts from both children. I think I average about 14 diapers a day (I am pretty sure there's no question as to whether or not Mercedes is getting enough to eat!). If I can manage to get myself dressed by noon, I probably don't have my makeup on until right before Jon Mark gets home ( and let's be honest, that's if I ever do get it put on). By the time Jon Mark gets home, I'm so tired that all I want to do is go to bed, because I know that in two hours, I will be up for at least 45 minutes nursing.
That's how it's been recently, but I have to give a shout out to all of the people (especially family) that have helped me out so much. I couldn't have made it this far on my own. I know the above sounds like complaining, I'm really not complaining, Mercedes is an angel baby. She rarely cries so far. And Joshua is such a good big brother and big helper! It's just been an adjustment that I am slowly adjusting to. It does get easier each day. And the more I venture out of the house, the better I feel (even though it is twice as difficult to go anywhere). Needless to say, I wouldn't change my circumstances. I love being a wife and mother, and love that I get to stay home with my children. While it is a huge responsibility, it's an awesome/great/rewarding one as well. I think my sister, Vanessa, put it best... "having two children just kind of rocked my world as I knew it." Here are some more pictures of Mercedes.

Nice, keep the pictures coming! Good luck with all the hecticness of life. It reminds me of that song, "Sounds like life to me, ain't no tragedy..." you know what I'm talking about?
