Updates!

I haven't written in awhile. I guess I'll give some quick updates. For my birthday, my mom combined my birthday with my sister, Vanessa's. We had cake and ice cream at my parents house, and I can't forget roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. Joshua loves fire... such a boy thing to love. But, my little guy also loves bubble baths, maybe even more so than I do!!!

His favorite new word is "bubble". I found that if I put him in the sink with bubbles and some bath toys, he plays quietly throughout the entire time it takes me to make dinner. Don't worry, I am right next to him on the other side of the sink. Jon Mark worries about ecoli bacteria, and I told him that I clean the sink before and after he takes his bubble bath... perhaps I don't worry enough. Yes, Joshua has discovered his private parts. I tried to take a decent picture, but he has discovered them. I try to distract him, by naming all of his other body parts, but I am open for more suggestions.

The painting is another painting of mine. I wanted to try my hand at doing something a little on the abstract side. I kind of like it. And, it was really fun to do. I don't think I like how I added some yellow and brown on the right side, I liked it better when it was blue. But, the beautiful thing about abstract is that you can't really make a mistake... right?! It's all about interpretation. So, I am calling the yellow part the sun. I think it'll go in Joshua's bathroom. I have a pond theme going on in there.

And, my last update for the day is: we are moving AGAIN this weekend. This will be our sixth move in the 3 years or so that we've been married. We're staying in the same apt. complex but we are moving to a bigger apartment for when Mercedes arrives. Our new address, as of this coming Friday, will be... 3225 E. Baseline Rd. #1067 Gilbert, AZ 85234. Just FYI. I'll post pictures of our new place when we get it settled.

Joshua is such a handsome boy! I love the fauxhawk too!

Ian recently discovered his 'stuff' too. I give him bath toys to play with instead, but try not to make a big deal about it either way. If you find a fool-proof solution I want to hear about it!

What a great way to have some peace while cooking dinner!

Good luck with the move!
