22 Weeks and Counting

Well, I am 22 weeks along (give or take a day). That's more than half-way--even if I am overdue again! I feel great, big, and tired. I HATE sleeping on my side, and I complain about it an awful lot to Jon Mark. He is pretty good about sharing the bed with my many pillows and allowing me to lean on him for support all night long. I think my lack of comfort during sleep is my biggest complaint right now, so things must be pretty good, right?! Mercedes is moving around a lot! I still don't think she's quite as active as Joshua was, but she's moving more nowadays which I find comforting. I'm getting more and more excited about having a newborn in the house.

We went to the zoo today. Joshua had fun with all of his Haws cousins. Tyler, Casey, Bekah, and Grandma sure entertained him well. He loves following around his big cousin Tyler (and Tyler is REALLY good about letting him). It was a fun day. Joshua definitely didn't want anything to do with the goats in the petting zoo--which was just fine with me (I think those things are so gross looking). His favorite part was the giraffes and the carousel. I put on a concert for all of the little kiddies on the drive home. I had to be really animated so that none of them would fall asleep. When Joshua falls asleep in the car, he refuses to take another nap at home. So, Disney tunes and my crazy car-dance moves successfully kept all sleepy children awake (and now Joshua is sleeping in his bed for what I hope will be two hours!).
