Mercedes also got a bike on Christmas morning. She is also VERY good at riding it. She loves that it has a basket to carry her dolly and toys.
Today, at church, Mercedes saw a man who was balding and she said to Jon Mark that he looked like a prophet. Jon Mark asked why and she said, "because he has no hair right here" and she pointed to the back of her head.
She and Joshua have been in a mood for scary stories recently and they are constantly asking us to tell them some scary stories. Jon Mark doesn't want to tell really scary stories, so he told them about Bigfoot. Well, later we heard Mercedes telling a story about "Bighand". It was cute.
Mercedes also learned how to pump herself on the swings. This is AWESOME! Pushing 4 kiddos on the swings can get very tiring. She earned herself her own pack of gum. That is what I had promised Joshua in an effort to bribe him into learning this skill himself. This was weeks ago and so I had completely forgotten about it. Mercedes, after she had learned how to pump, she so excitedly asked when I was going to take her to the store to buy a pack of gum just for herself.
