On Christmas Sunday, the kids were asked to sing in a small group in front of the congregation. You know how it goes with kids... you don't always know how they will perform in front of people, even if you had spent a lot of time practicing and preparing.
So, we bribed them. We told them that if they did a great job, we would let them open a present early.
Michelle and Jessica are on the couches, but you can't see them. Sorry.
The kids did a great job, especially Mercedes. She isn't afraid to be up in front of people and she knew all of the words and sang them loud. Jessica said that she looked like an angel and I agree with her. She did.
Today she gave a talk in church and it was so cute. I had told her to speak really loud because the microphone wasn't working. So of course she yells into the microphone which surprised everyone because it was working again. It was really loud. So, people laughed, which gave Mercedes the giggles. After she calmed down, she decided to whisper because yelling was too loud. The whisper was too soft. Poor girl. I felt bad for her. But, she was so cute.
