June Events Part Two

Here is the birthday girl and her cake.

Here are those in attendance at the swim party. I didn't get a picture of everyone.

It's hard taking pictures while everything is going on. But, we had Ben and Vanessa and their kids, both sets of grandparents, Gordon and Lyla and their kids, Uncle Nick, and Bethany.

And, here are the two birthday people blowing out their candles.

We love our Mercedes Girl! My little Mermer is 3 and here are some highlights:

She decided on her birthday to potty train herself. She did it all and I hardly had to do anything. It was almost magical!!! :)

She loves to sing The Wheels on the Bus.
She loves to dance with her daddy while she wears her princess dress.
She often declares: I'm not tired! Just before she actually falls asleep.
She loves playing dress up and princesses.
Her favorite food (she says, but I don't know if I believe her) is sandwiches.
She loves acting goofy with her brothers and really likes telling Bum Bum jokes--although we are discourageing that.
She is dramatic and animated. Dropping her sippy cup is equivilant to dropping a nuclear bomb (to her).
She likes to paint with me (her mommy).
She's very caring with her baby doll.
She can swim for as long as she can hold her breath but is very unpredictable.
She loves to cuddle with her blankie and whoever wants to join her.
Daddy and her Papa's are her favorite people.
She loves to have stories told of her of when she was a baby.

We love you, Mercedes Pretty Lady!

Ha ha, we can relate to a dropped sippy cup being like a dropped bomb. :) I love the Kit Kat cake...so cute!
