Just to say that I'm still alive and well, let's go ahead and have a flashback. I'm in AZ and I haven't been very good at taking pictures. But, I am on my parents computer and I discovered these gems that I don't have so I am recording them here. These pictures were taken a year ago when Luke was born. My mom came to Cleveland for the birth and got to hang out with Mercedes and Joshua a lot.

I hear that Mercedes was a little challenging while she was there. Joshua was pretty mature about the whole getting a new sibling thing. Anyway, I can't believe it has already been more than a year since then. My kids all look so much older now.

In a year's time, we have completed another two semesters of law school (two more left and then we're done!). We have traveled cross country to AZ twice. We have endured a long Ohio winter (although to be honest, last year's winter wasn't terrible like it was the year before). Joshua completed his first year of preschool. Mercedes turned from a toddler to a little lady. Mercedes actually grew some hair. In a year's time, we have gotten to know our Little Lukey Bear's personality. We have said goodbye to some good neighbors. I have gone to almost a dozen Bunko nights.

In a year's time, Mercedes has learned to run without tripping every ten feet. Luke has learned to walk. He loves to walk until he reaches my legs and then he holds on so tight to them so that I can't walk without picking up (he loves being held).

In a year's time, I have worked out on our eliptical probably more than 325 times or so trying to get those final 4 pounds of pregnancy weight off.

In a year's time, Jon Mark has reinjured his ankle and no longer can participate in early morning b-ball games.

I'm sure there are some key events and other stuff that I have left out. But, this concludes our little flashback for the time being.
