Joshua Bug/Salsa

I love this kid.  He's not home to interview, but here are a few updates about this cute kid:

He's amazing us with what he is learning at school.  He's reading some level 1 books and is loving it.

He LOVES playing soldier and is quite good at making gun noises.  His drawing always consist of guns and American flags.  I believe we are raising a "Reagan Republican" who will cling to his freedom and his guns someday.

He loves his little sister and will always "protect" her.

Joshua listened to an entire talk in sacrament meeting yesterday and was able to retell it with all of the details.  He also watched the Christmas devotional and I was pleased with how well he listened.

I love listening to his prayers.  The other day when we got to school, he was happy to see that the tardy bell hadn't rung yet and that he was on time.  He looked at me and said that Heavenly Father had answered his prayer.  He prayed that he wouldn't be late so that he wouldn't get a "lolly" slip (otherwise known as a tardy slip, but he thinks it is a lolly slip because he gets one whenever Jon Mark says that he is lollygagging).  I told him that Heavenly Father cares about even the small things and he was perfectly right to pray about that.

He also loves chicken nuggets.

His favorite color is still green.

His favorite song is usually Jaron's favorite song, so I will have to ask Jaron what he's loving right now...  HAHA!
