Sweetheart

Mercedes loves to call Joshua "sweetheart" and she says it in the sweetest little voice. He doesn't like it, however. He insists that she call him "handsome boy". I don't know which is weirder. I think both are cute, though.

Mercedes loves to come and snuggle with me every time I am sitting on the couch. She hugs my arm and lays her head on my chest and will every once in a while give me a kiss. She also shows the greatest interest in Hannah. She loves to run my belly and tell Hannah to wake up and let her feel her move. She laughs every time she sees Hannah make my tummy move. She loves being read to, and if it's her idea she likes being sung to. She loves getting her fingernails painted, and she draws anatomically correct pictures sometimes.  She likes the trampoline.  She likes her Little People dolls.  She loves hearing stories about herself.   

And, that's why I love this girl.
