Joshua is Five!

Haha, apparently I did put some of the pictures onto Jon Mark's computer. Nevermind that last post. I'm not sad anymore! :)

Joshua had a fun little party. We went to the train park and played and rode on the train. I think all of the neices and nephews had fun. We had Vanessa and her kids there, both sets of grandparents, and Michelle and Jaron were able to be there because Jaron had a job interview. He got the job, by the way, and they will be moving down sometime this next week.

We missed everyone else who wasn't able to be there.

Joshua is five. I can hardly believe it. Ann Romney said in her speech (her husband is currently a presidential candidate) that as a mother I will one day sit at my child's graduation and wonder how long days turned into years that flew by quickly. I totally get that. I feel like my first-born is growing so fast. He never stops questioning the world around him. For every question answered, there's a hundred more. Driving in the car with him is quite the quizitive experience. He asks questions about things I have honestly never thought about.

He loves his family. He's got loyalty. He bites his shirts relentlessly, which drives me crazy, by the way. He loves watching old cartoons from the '80's with his dad. He loves to play monster. He loves going on walks and exploring the "woods" by our house. He lets Luke smother him in kisses and hugs. He loves french toast. He constantly gets into the fridge to pour himself milk or juice. And, he is still a very thoughtful, and caring young boy. We love you, Joshua.
