Luke is a month old now, though I can hardly believe it. He weighs 11.5 pounds now and is already getting chubby thighs. He's in the 90th percentile for everything... which doesn't surprise me, I've come to expect that with my kids. I'm sure if he had been anything less I would have fretted about whether or not he was getting enough or if my milk supply was diminishing.
I've thought that Luke and Joshua look a lot alike from the beginning, although Luke has darker hair and is more olive toned than his brother. Anyway, the first two pictures are of Luke and the second two are of Joshua. Luke is wearing Joshua's Thomas the Train PJ's in one picture because I had asked Joshua to bring me some clothes for Luke. Joshua was in no mood to help me out on that day, but Mercedes (who definitely has more of the nurturing quality nowadays) had heard me ask and ran to get some boy clothes. The Thomas shirt was what she picked out.
Mercedes and Joshua are good friends lately. Right now as I type this, Mercedes has sneakily closed their bedroom door and I hear quite a bit of laughing. I suspect that she has joined her brother on the top bunk and is doing nothing short of breaking all the rules. She made the EASIEST transition to the bunk bed from her crib. One day she wanted to sleep on the bottom bunk, I let her and we haven't had any trouble since (except for the occasional climb to the top bunk). She's talking a lot more these days also. I can't always understand her, but she is doing much better. She has curly, blond hair and the bluest eyes. When we went to Niagara Falls last week, a group of Chinese tourists thought she was of movie star status and kept wanting to pose with her in pictures. Apparently, they had been taking pictures of her for quite a while before I showed up (Mercedes and the other two were with my in laws while Jon Mark and I did the Cave of Winds tour). They thought she was so super cute, it was funny to watch them fuss over her like they did. They couldn't speak English very well, but one man kept giving me the thumbs up and telling me that I did a good job.
Joshua is growing so fast too. I wish he was still alongside his cousin Bekah, they were so funny together. I miss the Frosts' a lot. I bet Joshua and Bekah would be up to all sorts of trouble if they were still neighbors. I registered Joshua for preschool if we end up staying in Ohio for a while longer. I have mixed feelings about it. I don't know if I am ready to be sending him out the door everyday. On one hand, it really causes me to get all sorts of emotional. On the other hand, I think it would be good for him. So we will see what happens.

Gracie saw me reading your blog and she said, "Did you know that she had her baby! We got to hear him snore in primary today!" Then she got the silliest grin! :)
How was Niagra Falls? We absolutely loved that place!!!
