So, I should be writing in my journal about now, isn't that a typical sabbath day activity??? But, I find that blogging is much more convienent and I am more inclined to do it. I've decided to do more journaling in this blog and save extra personal matters for my private journal. The reason... I sent my blog link to Blurb.com and had my blog printed up into a real book that was then bound and shipped to me. I liked it so much (plus it was relatively inexpensive--about the cost of buying a real journal, however, this has colored pictures and personal touches like a title, theme for the book, and favorite quotes of my choosing on the cover) that I thought, "hey, why not blog and then print it up a couple of times a year." If you're interested in doing something of that sort, here are the pros:
1. It only cost me about 30 bucks to do, and now I do have a nice, professional looking book to act as a journal for future generations to read. Price varies depending on size (mine was 8 by 10) and on whether or not you want hardcover or soft.
2. It was very easy and the software to create your book is free to download.
3. Blurb staff was very accommodating when fedex lost my package temporarily.
4. It was shipped to me within a week.
5. All pages are in color, and the paper quality is really nice.
The Cons:
1. The pictures in the format I used (blog format) are very small (some are bigger but most are small). I don't know if there's a way to fix this, I didn't know how.
2. You do have to pay for shipping.
Anyway, if you have any questions, let me know.

Ralae. That's my plan too! I am going to get it done by year though. I've been meaning to print 2008, but haven't gotten that far. Thanks for re motivating me!
Thanks for the info. I want to do it too sometime.
