Be Nice

Joshua and Bekah are more like brother and sister. Because Lindsay lives in the same apartment complex, we see each other just about every day. Joshua and Bekah have a love/hate relationship. For the most part, they're great friends. They have laughing matches and chase each other around. But, they are both very posessive of their things. The other day, Bekah got to Joshua's sippy cup and started playing with it. Joshua didn't like this and started yelling and hitting her over the head. I went over to the two of them to play referee and told Joshua to be nice. When he heard me say "be nice" he continued the yelling but began to pet Bekah's head instead of hit it. I laughed because it was funny, but I think he learned that at his Grandma McAvoy's. She has this toy bear that growls and crawls. Joshua used to hit it over the head, but then I would tell him to be nice and taught him to pet it instead. Looks like he was able to transfer this new skill to other areas of his life.

How fun that Lindsey lives that close to you and that Joshua always has a buddy to play with. Super cute pictures. I must say disciplining can be so hilarious at times. It can be so hard not to laugh at the things these boys do.
