Joshua LOVES being outside. Even when it's hot, he doesn't seem to mind. I took him to the playground this morning, and he loved it. He was very curious about everything that was in the sand: rocks, old sand-crusted gum, wires, and cat poop (I never knew just how many "buried treasures" a toddler could find). He didn't seem to understand why I wouldn't allow him to eat any of it. I also got some pictures of him climbing up the jungle gym. This was a new feat, and I was very proud of him!
