Salome Creek

This was a hike we recently did called Salome Creek. It's a beautiful hike, but the water is VERY cold, even with a wet suit on. The hike takes place in a gorgeous canyon with rock slides and deep pools of crystal clear water. At one point in the hike, you have to repel down a waterfall. I'd love to do it again sometime. It was my first time leaving Joshua all day.
Jon Mark diving into a pool of water. I didn't know he was going to dive!
Scott Simmons, my dad, me, and Jon Mark in a pool of water that was really deep.
The rocks were slippery so Jon Mark had me wear a helmet, but he was the one who needed one in the end... he had a couple of very close calls.
This is me, I think next time I will wear shoes that have more traction on the soles.

Ralae, I can't believe how active the two of you are. That does look like fun and the water looks gorgeous.
